The doctors at CSTH OPD were unhappy about their brach union officials, bad outcome at the budjet, and 24 h OPD!They wanted to discuss these with Dr Padeniya.
Dr.Padeniya visited CSTH OPD upon their invitation and conducted the meeting at their tea time.
What happened then !
Dr Hapugoda with the backing of Dr.Atapattu broke in to that place and started to cast remarks at Dr.Padeniya and even used filthy words.
The MOs/OPD who invited Dr.Padeniya got aggitated and started fighting with Dr Hapugoda.
Fight continued for a long time after Dr.Padeniya left the place.What is the reason behind Dr.Hapugoda's behaviour..?
He thinks that CSTH OPD is his private property,and nobody can come their with out his permision.
He is backed by Dr.Samantha de Silva(who is in UK at present) and Dr.Attapattu who is holding the post at CSTH repeatedly ignoring the annual transfer orders( Now for many years)
They seem to be very much frustrated with the out come at NHSL meeting yesterday and seems to be moving to their last resort..!
You know Dr.Hapugoda(SLMC representative of GMOA who does inquire about disciplinary matters of doctors and others)did not allow Dr.padeniya to discuss with OPD doctors and try to assault him .Finally the doctors ask Dr.padeniya to go because they could not continue the discussion as this one person who thinks he is the owner of the OPD,disturbed.
ReplyDeleteBelieve me ultimately Dr.hapugoda(Grade 1 MO & SLMC Council member) himself with no other doctor's support hooted at Dr.padeniya(A consultant) in front of the crowd (gathered to OPD hearing this argument)
Now this Dr.hapugda is the one whom we sent to SLMC by voting him to address diciplinary matters of doctors.
It is ashame.
